No they finally take cards!
Many years, family owned, good food great service. Best breakfast burritos in the world!
One of the best breakfast places in all of Colorado and for an unbeatable price. Not your yuppie overdone and over priced breakfast spots. I highly recommend
Happed here by accident. Usually stop at the Village Inn on Kipling when passing thru Denver but it was closed. Appeared to be for good. We drove about 1 mile so of I-70 on Kipling and found the Appleridge Cafe. Lot like many small town diners. Food was great and the service was better. We will probably make this our Denver fiod stop.
This is really a 40 year old jewel, their food and service sparkles. The cheese omelet with green chili is the best in a 10 mile radius. We really LOVE this place. They bake many of the items there on site, like the pies and rolls, i'm hungry just writing about it. You won't be disappointed eating there.
Good Neighborhood food. Decently priced. Our main server was great. Amber was kinda grumpy.
We arrived to a big waiting line, got a table quick. I'm and out in a half hour. Great service and the food was good. I recommend the chili relono.
Good food easily got a table ate and left full.
Best place in wheat ridge for food! The prices are low and the portions are generous. You might have to wait, but this place is well worth it!
Have been coming here for years now, best breakfast spot in town!
Great food, and service by real people. The breakfast platters are delicious and the waitresses here are great, prompt and engaging... we love coming back here!
Food is good..and good service
Very warm and inviting great waitstaff owners are especially nice. Very refreshing in today's atmosphere of eating out. A+
Amazing service. Clean, prices are reasonable. Cinnamon rolls are so good I would drive for miles to just get one. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Go check it out. I recommend the smothered breakfast burrito. Those are the best.
Bomb.com. literally everything is good.
Great people, great food soo budget friendly. One of the few places left that you can get what u pay for and more. They still have old fashion values for the customers. That's why they are still in business. Which is a feat in it self.
Their breakfast burrito is basically a Renaissance painting, so there’s that.
Excellent service, delicious food, great price!
Bomb food. Tammy was our Waitress and she is THE BEST! They made everything as we ordered it. They have a very wonderful homely feeling with food made for country living. The waitress is wonderful and speedy, the food was delicious. Thank you to Appleridge Cafe.
It had good food, and the people were very nice, but the restaurant was just a little bit....dirty.
Appleridge Cafe has some of the best green chili I’ve ever had in my life, they also have the friendliest staff and one of the hottest hostesses I’ve ever seen. Amber is always having fun and working hard every time I’m there. She makes my day.
What a rare find! I have eaten here 4 or 5 times in the last month and have not been disappointed yet! I had the pork chops on my last visit! Seasoned perfectly and not dry or over cooked... This restaurant is truly one of my favorites! I look forward to eating here again.
The high energy is exciting if you're in the mood. They can get so busy that it's ok to help yourself to the coffee and tea and water that are easily and handily placed in the Appleridge Cafe. To me it gives a feeling of hominess. They don't flood us with huge drinks that we'll never finish. The food is good and comes out hot. The servers have been here a while, God bless 'em, they know what they are doing and do it very fast. Hard working folks they are. When the toast was brought out the server immediately said she'd bring out some better toast that wasn't burnt.
Well this is definitely a typical Diner it has really good food for being so. Try the bacon! It is phenomenal. The wait staff are professional only as the mood hits them, so your will have sometimes wonderful and sometimes terrible service. Has a nifty, kitschy atmosphere.
We had to wait a while but what do you expect on a Sunday morning? Clearly a popular place. Good portions of tasty breakfast. Very impressed by the hash browns! Bathrooms are around the back, which confused us at first.
I love Apple ridge cafe, I have been going there for 20 years, it's an old school place which I like, good value, good food. I hope they're around for a long time to come.
Really great down home greasy spoon... lovely waitstaff... wide variety of food on menu!
Good little place. Fair prices for the huge food portions you get. Like the self serve coffee you can get while waiting for a place to sit.
best liver and onions I have had in a long long time. just like my husband made them.
This place is great! Its reasonably priced, you get sizable portions, and the food is solid diner fare! The service is quick and the environment is inviting. Its a great place to eat if your looking for a laid back, no worries kinda morning, afternoon, or evening experience. Highly recommended!
This is a great place ,food is good it's like a older atmosphere restaurant. If your on a budget it's a good place to go.
Solid food. Great staff. Highly recommended!
Wow, finally someone serves plenty of green chili. It seems most places are very tight, not here. Thanks for the great quantity, quality and service.
Delicious! Huge servings.
They have excellent bacon!! The service was good also
The food is good, I had huevos rancheros and my husband a breakfast burrito. The place and the service are casual, don't expect excellent friendly service.
I have SO found my Luke's diner of Star's Hallow!! I've lived 2 minutes from this diner for the past 5 years and have been meaning to try it. I couldn't decide on what I wanted for lunch while running errands and as I was passing Apple Ridge Cafe, I quickly took a left and moseyed on in. It's a busy little diner but immediately feel welcomed and that you walked into a small town atmosphere. Those waitresses move up and down those diner isles like angels and smiles never leave their faces. Super friendly atmosphere and much more, my meal satisfied my love for top notch diner food. I didn't pay an arm and a leg, left happy and I know I will be back many times to come.
Great service. Good food.
This is a great little mom and pop cafe with really good comfort food. The staff is always smiling and on it. They all really seem to like their job, that’s nice to see. Their giant homemade cinnamon rolls are to die for. Fresh homemade pies, pork chops, meatloaf, roast beef. You name it, if it’s down home comfort they make it. And the prices are really good. You will usually have a wait but it’s worth it! Give it a try, it’ll be your go to when your craving a little bit of moms cookin...
Pricey. decent food. Grllled cheese and fries for 6 bucks on senior menu
Nice little diner in the Applewood area. They have a decent amount of parking. Sundays are fairly busy as expected. Service is pretty good considering there are only three servers for the whole restaurant. There are some extra tables outside to increase the capacity which helps. The food is ok. Nothing to say exemplary but it's quite filling and a good value.
Exactly what you want in a diner in Wheat Ridge. Burrito and green chili are excellent.
Great hole in the wall cafe! Delicious food every time. Not to mention the amazing staff and outgoing host Amber. She makes us feel welcomed and valued. The service is fast and second to none. Definitely a place to check out!
Lakewood classic, always packed, great staff, decent prices. No Michelin Stars, but a great place to take your friends.
The food is amazingand the service is fantastic. I got takeout, the special. Will absolutely come back with family.
Have loved this place since the first time we ever ate there. Good portions, good staff and great food.
I've been eating here for 30yrsLove the breakfast menuThank you for the smiles
Busy place for lunch with many obviously long-time customers, and no wonder. The food was good and quickly-served. Blueberry pie was great. The bathroom entrance is exterior to the building.
Hometown diner with a 1970’s feel. Menu has wide selection with large portions of food. Food was good, pie was good. I’ve heard their cinnamon rolls are the best, but they were out of them.
The quintessential greasy spoon diner. Lovely waitresses and a hard working kitchen staff makes for a dining experience that I wasn’t sure existed any more. Apple Ridge Cafe is like a portal to the glory days of the American Diner. Over the past few weeks we haven’t been able to sit down inside due to the current health crisis but I still show up for a perfectly smothered breakfast burrito. Can’t wait to get back in a booth and do my crossword.
Food is always great. Love the ladies that work there.
